Pushit Personal Data Protection User Information Notice

The Pushit Personal Data Protection User Information Notice (“Information Notice”) has been prepared in accordance with Article 10 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and the Communiqué on Procedures and Principles to be Followed in Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform, by us as the data controller (“Pushit”), for the purpose of informing users (“user”, “you”) of the Pushit Mobile Application (“Mobile Application”) offered through Google Play Store and iOS App Store regarding the personal data processed.

The Mobile Application allows you to collect links (URLs) from different platforms/applications in a single application, categorize them as you choose, and create tags. If you use the Mobile Application, the personal data specified below will be processed based on the stated purposes and legal grounds.

1- Personal Data Processed Within the Scope of the Mobile Application

If you use the Mobile Application, the personal data specified below is processed automatically within the scope of the Mobile Application’s use.

Creating an account and registering with an email address is not mandatory to use the application. If you wish to use the Mobile Application as a Guest User, a User ID is assigned to you. If you later request to log in with your own email to the account where you are a Guest User, we will merge your accounts in accordance with your request. This way, you can continue using the Mobile Application through the same account.

We would like to emphasize that the links (URLs) added to the Mobile Application are determined by the users themselves (you). The content of the links you save is not kept, stored, or recorded on the Mobile Application. When the User clicks on saved links, they are redirected to the relevant platform/application where the content is hosted.

In any case, if personal data belonging to third parties is found in the links, their titles, descriptions, or parameters you save within the Mobile Application, you accept that you are obligated to act in compliance with the law regarding the processing of personal data, that you have made necessary notifications to the relevant persons, and that consent obligations have been fulfilled by you.

No special category personal data is collected from users within the scope of the Mobile Application’s use. Accordingly, special category personal data belonging to you or third parties should absolutely not be added, used, or shared through links or by means of categorization/tag creation methods.

2- Purposes and Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data

The personal data specified in Article 1 is processed in accordance with paragraphs (c), (ç), and (f) of Article 5 of KVKK, based on the necessity for the establishment and performance of a contract, fulfillment of our legal obligations, and within the scope of our legitimate interest in a manner that does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms;

For the purposes of creating and managing user accounts, conducting account verification processes, ensuring account security, providing user experience, enabling the Mobile Application to fulfill its functions and basic features, providing it to users, conducting information security and transaction security processes, fixing errors in the Mobile Application, ensuring its proper operation, acting in compliance with our legal obligations, and fulfilling the requests of authorized institutions and authorities.

3- Transfer of Personal Data and Transferred Parties

Your personal data is transferred in the cases specified below and to the specified parties in compliance with Articles 8 and 9 of KVKK, in accordance with the purposes stated above.

Data is shared with authorized institutions and organizations, judicial and administrative authorities, courts, and other authorized institutions and organizations based on the conditions of being explicitly provided by law, establishment or protection of a right, and fulfillment of our legal obligations.

In order to provide the Mobile Application to you and carry out our activities, we use the infrastructure, services, and offerings of third-party service providers within the scope of the necessity for the performance and establishment of the contract and our legitimate interest. Since the servers of Third-Party Service Providers are located abroad, your personal data will be transferred abroad.

Third-Party Service Providers:

  • Google Firebase: Ensuring mobile application performance, providing it to users, fixing errors, and enabling login with a Google account at the user’s request.
  • Amazon Web Services: Providing hosting/server infrastructure services.
  • Google AdMob: Used to display advertisements in the Mobile Application so that the Mobile Application can be offered free of charge. Personalized advertisements are not served to users through Google AdMob in the Mobile Application. For details of personal data processing activities to be carried out by Google, Google’s Privacy Policy should be reviewed.

4- Method of Collecting Personal Data

The personal data specified within the scope of this Information Notice is collected automatically through electronic means via the Mobile Application by being directly provided by you and through your use of and interaction with the Mobile Application.

5- Protection of Children’s Privacy

The Mobile Application has not been developed for frequent use by children or directly targeted at children. We care about protecting children’s privacy and personal data. The Mobile Application should not be used without parental control.

6- Your Rights Regarding the Protection of Personal Data

Pursuant to Article 11 of KVKK regarding the processing of personal data, you have the right to:

  • Learn whether personal data is being processed,
  • Request information if personal data has been processed,
  • Learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,
  • Know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,
  • Request correction of personal data if it has been processed incompletely or incorrectly,
  • Request deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7,
  • Request notification of operations carried out pursuant to paragraphs (d) and (e) to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred,
  • Object to a result arising against the person through the analysis of processed data exclusively through automated systems,
  • Request compensation for damages in case of damage due to unlawful processing of personal data.

You can always contact us with all your questions within the scope of this Information Notice, your applications and requests regarding your rights determined pursuant to Article 11 of KVKK, through the contact addresses specified below, in accordance with the Communiqué on Procedures and Principles for Application to the Data Controller.

Your requests in your application will be responded to in the shortest time possible and at the latest within 30 days following the receipt of your application, depending on the nature of the request.

7- Updates

This Information Notice may be updated at any time by the data controller within the scope of changes in legislation and when necessary. The document version will be updated in accordance with the changes.
